A couple of days ago we were invited to my humanbro Jakobs apartment.....it was my family and my other humanbro Sebastian, his girlfriend Klara and their little sweetheart Chihiro, the shiba-inu. Elsa wae there as well...that is Jakobs girlfriend....... which I like very much. We like to go to Jakobs place...we uaually get meatballs there....yummie!
When we arrived there was three unknown people in the flat!!! The control freak inside me was on instant alert....unknown people are like mine fields to me....uncharted ones! I have to tread carefully around those potential enemys...you never know do you??!!

I know that mum and dad says to people that havent met me that theyshould take it easy...not approach directly...and not look me straight in the eyes...a contest I always win!!!!
The new people were Elsas parents Annika and Nisse....well Nisse isn`t his name really, it´s Mikael...why he calls himself Nisse is beyond my comprehension...as well as their son Eric.
I was very intrigued by this Eric character....I know that he just did was he was told to do...NOT LOOK IN THE BEASTS EYES!!!! And he was very good at it...so I had to challange him!!!
Sitting in front of him I started to stare at HIM...but he didn`t flinch! Hey!! whats the matter with you...look at me!...am I ugly or something?...do I have snot running from my nose or what?!
I was forced to make a small, but noticeable growl, to try make his attention. At that point dad took my by the collar and sat me in the kitchen! What! Hey dudes I was only trying to start a friendly conversation!! Can´t a guy talk to another guy???? Whats wrong with you??? I got so pissed off that I sulked in the kitchen by myself the rest of the evening.
Dad brought me some whipped cream....that almost got me to forget Eric. I will talk to him next time we meet!!!!!

Chihiro....our young shiba bitcfriend comes regulary to visit us...she is a sweet energetic little thing. I have had time studying her behavior...and I have some issues. Lately she has been in heat...for her first time...and I haven`t been that interested???..strange?..I usually go crazy if I smell a heating bitch in the area. It can be answered with that she has panties on when she is here....maybe...or it can be that I have some sense to see that it would be very strange puppies.

But I wonder if she has a clue what gender she is??? Cause when she and Zumi play together...and they do it very intense and hard...she tries to make puppies with Zumi!!!!!!! You should see it!!..it is hilarious! And I don`t think she knows what up or down on Zumi cause she tries "puppie making" thing on Zumis head!!! I think her mommy will have to teach her some good old dog anatomy!!!

Today I did the stranges thing.....for me that is...I have seen other dogs do it all the time...even Zumi. I approached a man who held out his hand towards me....and I sniffed it!!!!...and the man had all his fingers left when we parted!!!!! Wasn`t I a good boy?! I know one who wouldn`t be pleased if he knew about it....my father...Doraemon...he does NOT like people at all. But my human mom and dad was very pleased....maybe I will try doing it again...then I can get some whipped cream for reward!!!

 

Something is wrong here in the kingdom of Sweden.....the weather is like early spring not as it should be....minus 10 degrees Celsius and half a meter of crispy snow to play in. With the luck we have it`s gonna be cold in april and snow up to the rooftops!!!!

The weather has forced dad to buy a new mobile phone....and he blames us for it??!!! I don`t know how he has his head screwed on actually! Because of the mild and wet weather mum and dad wipe our paws in the hallway before we go into the house.....pedantry!!!....and when dad bends over he has dropped his phone from his inside pocket a couple of times...smack on the hard tile floor!!! So his camera has gone caputtski!
And he has the stomach to blame us!!!!...get us some nice rubber shoes then!!!!

Often on pictures taken of me I look so serious don`t I?....I have been known to smile once or twice though!
I have never been a happy and bouncy dog...not even as a puppy...and the older I get the more serious I get.
Is it the climate, Greta Thunberg, Donald Trump or Vladimir Putin that is making me so solemn????
No I don´t think it is that way...I am just an akita...a male akita-inu...I am supposed to be inscrutable, grave and introvert.

Something strange happened when we were taking an afternoon walk with dad. A car that came towards us slowed down and almost stopped.....then it went passed us. We didn`t take any notice of the car...usually when we see our own car we get wild. After a few steps we suddenly turned our noses up against the wind and sniffed... went ballistic and wanted to go after the car. Dad just laughed and was amazed. In the car was mum and auntie Astrid! We hadn`t noticed them visually but somehow some micro smell came out from the car when it passed us and that started us going. I myself are astonished how great our olfactory senses are...........

Is the new year here ???? Can we go outdoors without getting tinnitus now???? Those bloody fireworks are killing me!!!! But this year I have managed to stay more calm when I heard them....and the sellers of them said that last year ( 2019 ) was a bad year for them!!! Thank you Greta T!!!

We stayed at our summer house during the end of last year and the beginning of this year...not so many fireworks around...there is a farm with horses nearby and they are not fond of them either....

We like to think in Sweden that we are  big environmentalists....we like the outdoors and take care of the nature around us....as I stated "we like to think we are". But we have Greta Thunberg and we have the "allemansrätt"!! The "allemansrätt" or Right of Public Access is a very fine and rare thing....as a person you can actually go anywhere you want even if it is another persons property. Though it goes with a lot of responsibility....I cant go into someones garden to pee as it is...the owner would be very mad and dad would be mad as well. Sometimes people coming to visit Sweden takes this "allemansrätt" to a higher level...it has been known that they take their picnic basket and use peoples garden and garden furniture too!!! Not very popular I can tell you......
But as a dog I am very fortunate to have the opportunity to roam around in forrests almost everywhere....that is not the fact in every country I guess....

Down at the newly renovated steam boat dock in Brevik....hopefully this summer we can take the steam boat on the Väddö Canal to Älmsta and then walk the foot path along the canal back to Brevik....

I just came to think of that I miss Winston!!! You know......Winston.....the neighbourhoods stupid golden retriever...always on the move and more then often without his owners....and more then often they didn`t even know he was gone until someone came back with him. He has moved away....
I really love golden retrievers....well it`s true...as long as I can have them with some whipped cream on top...hehehehe!!!

The last couple of days we have had a lot of visits and gone to visit people as well....it is very tiresome!!!! Especially when the japanese tornado a k a Chihiro comes down on us....but eventually a tornado must rest.....
